Windows 7

Windows 7 is approaching critical mass this is good news for the future of our digital lives - however as with all transitions preparation and timing are critical. By the end of this year business large and small will  commence and in some cases complete the migration to the new platform and thats how windows 7 is best understood as a new platform, that means it requires a hardware and software upgrade to yield any real benefits.
All computers are two part machines and these two parts must be compatible
Refer to rule 2 of Computer Happiness
Always keep your hardware and software in the same generation -
In this case it is a clear warning not to approach this transition as a purely software issue - This is the time to prepare for a complete refit of both hardware and software - the reason  is that Win 7 is fundamentally different from its predecessor windows XP. It has been fundamentally redesigned to suit the new generation of hardware .the I generation of CPUs - I3s,I5s,I7s. and the higher speed  DDR3 ram - these modifications are essential to the future development of our personal technology -
